12 Week Transformation

Did you know as of today there are only 50 days until summer?! I don’t want to use the word challenge because challenges come to an end and I’m making life changes. I purchased this program about 1 ½ weeks ago. I did a kind of intro session and stuck with it about 70% I knew I wasn’t ready to be all in, but I just wanted to get a feel for it with the intention of starting today. Monday May 1, 2017. It’s a new day, new week, and new month. I went with an online coach who has an option to add check-ins. I’m comfortable in the gym but after about a couple weeks I start losing motivation. I’ve learned this about myself and can now use the information from past failures to help make this one more successful. I started reading up on Macros and my head wanted to explode. That’s why I’m so glad this program took most of the guess work out for me. THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED POST. I did all the research myself, decided to go with them, and purchased the program. If you would like more information I went with a Shedfast coach. The program my coach put me on was carb cycling. I had never heard of that before, but basically it changes from some higher carb days to lower ones to keep your metabolism revved up. It was very cost effective, and I was provided with a 12 week workout plan, a 12 week exercise plan, a recipe guide, and an “Eat this not that” guide. My plan tells me exactly what to eat (with substitution options), and Exactly what workout to do each day. This program is giving me a great starting point, and I’ve heard from multiple people with my same goals that they were successful with Carb Cycling. So now let’s see how far I can go with this. I know a big portion is mental and that’s why I love the check-in option. So follow me as I will be posting food pics, tips, tricks wins and yes even my failures. I’m going to be totally transparent with you all. Gonna keep it real folks. Send some encouraging thoughts my way, and if you need some, let me know and I’ll send some your way. So day 1 for me is down and I’m ready for 83 more! Let’s do this. In total transparency fashion I have included my before pics. Do you all know how hard it was for me to post my before pics along with MY WEIGHT y’all, but I guess I have to start somewhere, this is my beginning point and I’m trying to embrace the process!
